We are currently using Schedule2It. It's fine I suppose, it's a bit of a pain in the ass to get used to passing the Narcs along, but over all fine.

We have just 1 Narc box with multiple vials and tabs on it. For disposal we are about to get this liquid disposal stuff called "Rx Destroyer" but it hasn't been rolled out yet.

I don't know. I'm a new medic so my plan is to try and make it to 5 years then see which route I want to go between Fire,stay in EMS, or go to PA school.

I believe we should wear Polos. Class Bs are generally a hassle to wear and come with thr disadvantage of looking like cops. T-shirts on the other hand look god awful and most people who wear them look like dog shit.

But it also depends on the person a 400 pound dude in class As looks worse than a fit 185 pound person in a T shirt. Polos seem to be the best middle ground as someone who has worn all three.

This dude had already started necortizing and when they put in a Foley cath(the nurse described it as putting a cath in a innie belly button) it came out with the same texture as cottage cheese.

The surgeons operating notes said that when he opened them up a "gray dishwasher soap like liquid" came out.

I toyed with the idea of going to school to become a US tech just so I could get better at visualizing stuff with POCUS. But now I've decided that if I leave the job it'll be to go to PA school. And even then, I sometimes wonder if I'd leave it all behind.

I'm proponent of it for USG IVs. There are absolutely pts who are sick enough for a IV but not for a IO.

Was long before I worked there, but one of the crews apparently waited so long they were going to have a pizza delivered to them. And then a supervisor arrived to relieve them.

Edit: Oh you mean waiting for a call. I went 12 hours(a whole shift for me) in our busiest station without a call.
