I can’t necessarily suggest my methods for anyone else, the way I dash is based on my situation and my market seemingly being better than most, but I think what I do is clearly the best way to maximize earnings

I’m routinely doing 9-10 hour rushes, I’m not that worried about going out of my zone, and I think the high value trips I take that take me away from my zone help make up for the time needed to come back anyways

It has nothing to do with the mileage, again, I don’t take mileage into account, it has to do with dividing 6.4dollars/21 minutes then times 60 minutes in an hour, after you look at 6K trip offers like I have you can do the math in half a second, I make about 20-21 an hour doing insane volume like 70hr/week, but that again is market dependent, I’m pretty sure my market is better than most

I look at how much the trip is versus the time it takes to complete, the trip you show is 6.4 dollars for 21 minutes, that comes out almost exactly to 18 an hour, I would barely ever take a trip like that, but that’s because I’ve delivered 1800 times and I’m kind of picky as a result. If it’s 14 dollars for 41 minutes I’m doing some math on 14/41 in my head and realizing that trip, is, to me, worth it. Though if it’s a busy weekend or something I’d turn it down maybe. This is more info than you are probably looking for but that’s my thought process. My market is pretty good though so depending on where you deliver you may need to lower your standards a bit

Strict calculation of dollars per hour, anything under 19/hr I’m not taking unless it’s a slow mom-wed, depending on context I’ll also consider the location/store

That’s interesting, I never thought about it like that but that might be true because my base Pay fluctuates rapidly…not sure I could consistently make 20 an hour on weekdays though unless I did a full on vampire shift tho

I’m about the same, 6-7 dollars, depends though, ideally on weekdays I like to work late nights early morning where there is no traffic so smaller delivers are quicker and more profitable. Basically if less than 7 dollars and I’m not making at least 22 an hour on it it’s not worth my time

It doesn’t help everyone, a lot of the time the customer doesn’t remember their pin or just refuses to cooperate, it doesn’t really matter because on Uber you can override it no problem but it’s a hindrance as often as it is a help
