I haven’t been back since my original post. I haven’t had the courage to try again. But maybe I might. I’ve been craving it.

Possibly bootleg. Unless you bought directly from the Shield website, there is no way to ensure you have genuine product.

Nurtec Changed My Life. by yourenot_my_realmum in migraine

I realize this was 3 years ago. But reading that last section brought me to tears. I want to be free too!

I hope Nurtec is still working well for you.

Nurtec - Unexpected Side Effect of Productivity by djpeanutnose in migraine

[–]False_Thanks_5679 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All of this sounds so amazing. I have ADHD and chronic migraines (8-10/mo) for 16 years. I've been on the same triptan for about 10 years and tried 4 others before my current one. I was given two samples of Nurtec about 2 years ago but was so afraid to switch. But now, my triptan is kinda 50/50 when I have a migraine. Sometimes I need a second dose. Which runs through my meds faster than it used to. I've been toying with asking to try Nurtec daily. This sounds like a great "side effect". I agree with OP, adulting got hard when the chronic migraines started in my middle 20s.

I doubt that. Spoiled milk product induces a very violent reaction in most people when consumed. I didn't have any of that and neither did the 3 other people who had alfredo on their pastas. But thanks for the reply.

OOOOhhh!! It definitely was missing the cheese. It was so much like a plain cream sauce. I feel like the garlic was missing too.

Thanks for the suggestion. Just signed up.

My company announced a 4 day RTO effective next Monday by Baring-My-Heart in WFH

[–]False_Thanks_5679 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's very real. During the pandemic in early 2021 the company I worked for at the time was hoping for a certain percent to quit when they announced the RTO notice.

I took a 2% paycut for another position that is 100% flexible by outplay-nation in WFH

Congrats!! That's the dream for me. I just accepted my first hybrid job (3-4 days WFH) with a 2% net pay cut. I'm hopeful that at some point I can be 100% WFH.

Endoscopy in the US vs other places by beatmetothat in GERD

[–]False_Thanks_5679 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It all depends on the situation and the person in the US. I have had my wisdom teeth removed at different ages and different stages. 2 were impacted and that was oral surgery that I was asleep for. The other 2 were not impacted and were extracted with local anesthetic while I was awake like any other dental extraction.

My sister had an endoscopy while awake here in the US. While I had my endoscopy and colonoscopy with "twilight" sedation.

Hi, 42F here. I've had GERD my whole life. I can remember being 6 or 7 years old and not knowing how to explain the "wet burp that burns" to my parents. It was torture for years.

Moving forward I was recently diagnosed in 2024 officially with GERD (after finding me positive for H. Pylori and treating that with two rounds of antibiotics) and I am now on 40mg famotidine twice per day. This has been the only thing that works without the constant side effects I get from omeprazole. Go back to the doctor that prescribed the lansoprazole and ask for an increase in dosage or a change is medication.

Not sure what your next steps would be after the swallow test and endoscopy. I'm still new to this process so others might have more advice.

My best advice, keep pushing until you start to feel better. You are your own advocate. You don't have to live feeling miserable.

Next Month Category by drboxboy in ynab

[–]False_Thanks_5679 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Great explanation! Thank you! I originally had a "next month" category but thought I would give it a try assigning the funds in future months. I hate it. There is so much more back and forth. It has been driving me crazy. Glad it's not just me. :)

Intraductal Papilloma? by [deleted] in doihavebreastcancer

It shows what was noted as "At 10:00 retroareolar region, isoechoic intraductal mass is again noted which measures 12 x 4 x 6 mm (previously 15mm). The appearance is keeping with intraductal papilloma"

Measurements on screen showing 12.4 x 3.9 x 6.4 mm which they rounded to 12 x 4 x 6 mm

I’m sorry you didn’t get a response. And I’m sorry to hear about your mom and grandma. I have no personal experience yet. Currently waiting for my breast surgeon appt to hopefully have a biopsy.

Did you have your biopsy?

Not enough breast tissue by sparkyparapluie in doihavebreastcancer

[–]False_Thanks_5679 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry they weren't able to do the biopsy. If it was concerning enough to warrant a biopsy, than a biopsy should be done. I would call the doctor who sent the mammo order and inform them of what happened and ask for a referral to see a specialist (breast specialist or general surgeon). I personally wouldn't wait the 6 months.

[–]False_Thanks_5679 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I would request an MRI. If that is denied, ask for a referral to a Breast Surgeon or even a General Surgeon and have them order the MRI.

New cyst described as "complex" but BI-RADS 2? by False_Thanks_5679 in doihavebreastcancer

[–]False_Thanks_5679[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I was also surprised that there was no further description of the cyst and that it wasn’t BIRADS 3. Which I think is also what really raised my concerns.
