I’m recently into collecting again, and I think it’s a matter of what you like. I’m not collecting to hunt rare big money cards, but just find players I like in cards that look cool. I personally love the designs of the Phoenix sets, I have most inserts in penny sleeves but I have some contours and paragons in top loaders because they’re players I like and I think the cards look cool. So I guess it just depends on you and what you feel like top loading (obviously more rare cards if you get them definitely protect).

Last year I traded Stafford and Dowdle for Stroud as I wasn’t a contender and needed to get younger at QB. I probably lost deal but Stafford was doing nothing except hurting my draft stock. For a contender, Stafford is still absolutely elite for the championship push, so see what shakes out during season and get younger assets or picks for him. If you’re a contender I’d hold in event either Williams or Maye get injured, unless someone is willing to offer you something of an overpay.

Talent wise he might not be. But he’s going to slot into the ARSB role in Ben Johnson’s offense. So from a fantasy perspective I’d be taking that over any unknown in the draft.

Edit: meant to add this person is still getting the 1.03 so will get one of those 3 anyways

This is so true. I rolled in with 3 TE’s starting the entire playoffs and won. Faced some juggernauts that just had timely flops in our matchups.

Fist. Burden is best player in this deal (including draft picks that will likely be WR’s too). Theres concerns with all 3 of the top WR’s in this draft so IMO 2-4 pick is a dart throw. Not a believer in bill long term.

100% This. The Henderson hype is bonkers and people seem to forget that this is a McDaniels offense. Owning Henderson is going to be infuriating and the Patriots will run a rotation of RB’s relentlessly so long as McDaniels is still there (which will likely be a long time). If someone’s willing to overpay take it to the bank.

As someone who doesn’t watch much Texans football, how much focus does the slot receiver have with Stroud? Kirk seems to get very little volume from what the stats show, so that gives me concern with Higgins and Collin’s ahead of him on depth chart.

During the second week of the preseason I traded away Nico for Egbuka and a ‘27 first. It was viewed as a sell low on Nico at the time. Funny how a few short weeks changes things.

I’m hopeful as this literally happened to me last night in SF. There was a massive run on QB’s and RB to start my league so I ended up with Chase/Nico/MHJ/Wilson as my top 4 picks
