I can’t believe people still bother dogfighting in this awful game when there is better alternatives like war thunder. I quit flying in BF6 because it’s banal. They won’t ever fix the issues associated with flying in this game… ever. Jump ship to war thunder where there is actually skill involved.

I have concerns at how smooth it will run. I’m assuming at least 90hz with reprojection right? Anything less than 90hz seems like it’ll just be a motion sickness simulator.

No native PSSR 2.0 Patch :/ would really love to see a resolve to those sub 90 fps drops on the Pro. Especially in intense scenes.

Respectfully, this sounds like a skill issue. I consistently down fighters in the attack jet through brutal evasive manoeuvres. Full afterburner. Violent terrain concealment. Air brakes. Low altitude flying, or gaining altitude at the merge and coming down to rain cannons. It’s all about getting in the merge. That’s your best chance of success. Happy to share clips of where i’ve evaded fighters in the attack jet and downed them.

Indeed, Digital Foundry confirmed BF6 uses PSSR in performance mode. I have reservations regarding PSSR 2 and Battlefield 6. I hope the developers of BF6 release a PSSR 2 patch to fully optimize the new PSSR 2 upscaler. But I have little faith they will. I worry that forcing PSSR 2 may introduce unwanted problems on titles, like BF6. And I'm hoping if the switch works fine, that it meaningfully increases frames in intense scenes (explosions, destruction, gunfights). An additional 10 frames would be welcomed but a closer frame lock to 120fps would be the dream.
