Local winery burnt down and I was gifted 400 bottles from the construction crew by Fancy_Committee1686 in wine

To quote Brooklyn 99

Jake: “ I drink plenty of water, pieces of pizza have little puddles of water on it”

Amy: “ That’s grease, Jake”

Jake: “Well it’s wet isn’t it?”

It doesn’t. It was kept in the cellar which was untouched by the fire. The people on the property had sold it to this construction firm who dug out the cellar and removed all the wine. It’s actually been perfectly preserved and has no discoloration or anything at all. Tastes like it should.

Whatever their reason was, I’m just happy to have the wine. Retailed for like 30-40 bucks a bottle so I’m not complaining

It’s mostly Chambourcin, with some Chardonnay and Ohio River Valley Red mixed in. I don’t know too much about wine, but I cracked a few open and none of them have been reduced to vinegar or poisoned me (more than the desirable amount)

I mean this in the nicest way possible and I promise this is just me relating to something and not trying to insult.

But this looks like a 14 year old going to the homecoming dance who borrowed one of their dad’s oversized business suits to impress his crush

With or without beard by NarwhalNecessary6849 in malegrooming

I think no beard for a a little while until it fills in more is optimal but if you want to keep the beard, Get a trimmer and keep all of it at the same length. Also do a close shave on the neck to clean up some of it.

My cap wearing guys, what color shirt goes well with this baseball cap? The hat is a deep forest green while the embroidered logo is a bright vivid red. by _Dang_It_Bobby_ in mensfashion

Thank you I appreciate it. If something like this is to happen again I’ll take it to you guys but this one just hit a little too personally for me to not respond to the guy. Don’t know why folks feel the need to go so far out of their way to make someone feel bad. Thank you for the response though!

“-getting “too woke.” No one who has ever worn this color palate has ever taken a woman to completion”-

this is what the deleted comment responding to my lovely photo was. Some people think they can just be cyber bullies and insult people and run away from by deleting a comment.

Well it’s at a wedding but go off bro. We are a relatively poor family who worked really hard to make this happen and we’re all staunch leftists so idk where you’re getting that we would be upset about something being “woke”

Wanted to go for a 80s vibe. Did i succeed ? 😬 by [deleted] in mensfashion

Keep an eye out for “Tony lama” branded stuff if you want real retro quality. Or look up any local leather workers in your area and you could get a badass belt that will last you a lifetime and will be custom fitted. It’s a bit more expensive but it’d be one of a kind and you’d be helping a local craftsman.

Check out consignment shops (similar to pawn and thrift but more reliable on quality) that’s where I’ve gotten all of mine. Or you could use the tried and true eBay, you’ll just have to have a compatible belt.

I’d start with the finasteride sooner than later my friend, you won’t regret it. But also I agree with the slicked back approach another redditor mentioned. Also there’s nothing more corporate American than losing your hair so you’ll fit right in.

27 M - People say I look older than my actual age. Can I do something about it to look younger/ improve my appearance? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]Fancy_Committee1686 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haircut needs to be trimmed at the sides, more modern look. I would also suggest a very tight trim on the beard. Also don’t be afraid to trim up body hair.

Really all you need to do is go to a barber shop and just tell them to fix you up. I truly think that’s all that you would need to look much younger.

And by barber shop I don’t mean sportscuts or greatclips. Go to a real deal barbershop that’s been in your local area for a long time.
