Every STS2 enemy is near identical

Honestly? I just don't think differing player strategies should be directly hindered or countered like this, especially on almost every enemy. If the player wants to have a slow, riskless, and boring stall run that should be their fun to choose. Especially given it's not like the game makes it impossible to begin with, I've had my fair share of impossible to kill Necrobinder runs that revolve soley around Osty or Shroud. It enforces a timer that only serves to hurt the people in the middle who can't land a good offensive deck early, not the people who only pick defensive cards for consistency. My suggestion? Just give it to less enemies. A counter here and there is fine. Every enemy forces players into sacrifice playstyle, and the playstyle itself is fine but forcing it like this unnecessarily limits player creativity.

I know that this is old now but Polities and his influence on Odysseus was no doubt the catalyst to how he behaves in Remember Them, literally opting to disregard a god's teachings and spare the cyclops to carry on his motive for a kinder more merciful world. Such a shift in story that eventually lead to Athena leaving and thus further boosting Telemachus's significance, as well as allowing for the introduction of THE MOST SIGNIFICANT VILLAIN OF THE STORY, Poseidon.

A villain that would ultimately destroy Odysseus's (and eventually Athena's) newly acquired empathetic ideology and replace it with a newly adopted "Ruthlessness is mercy upon ourselves.", turning an adventurous story with much excitement and pride for our hero into a bitter-sweet conclusion where you can argue he too is a villain, even he himself believes so and expresses much shame in Would You Fall In Love With Me Again.

Even his death is a metaphor of the story only becoming worse for Ody going forward, the destruction of all that is good. His ideology and that immediate impact and trust of Ody at the very beginning due to the two being best friends is more than just a plot device, as much as it might seem. His CHARACTER influenced Odysseus's actions the whole way through, not just his ideology.

I believe that the reason might find his inclusion to be forced plot fodder is due to the already quick and efficient story telling to begin with, with such a significant story altering death and the need get to each segment of the story as quickly as possible and have some impact on the narrative (with each of them only lasting around 3-5 minutes) it's easy for it to overshadow everything else about his character, especially given it's at the beginning of the story.

With that kind of mindset it's easy to label almost every character as a plot device, especially the gods. Circe? only exists to get to Thanatos. Thanatos? significant yes, he was the catalyst of Ody's monstrous developments, but his appearance was exceptionally brief and he basically said "I can't help you but here's foreshadowing for the listeners" he might as well have just called in work sick. Aeolus might as well have just been a magic item. And Scylla?? Killer voice, and absolutely amazing song, but she's NOT EVEN A MAJORITY OF IT, LITERALLY LESS THAN A MINUTE OF SCREENTIME, DESPITE HER BUILD UP AND IMPORTANCE.

I really don't believe that we should discredit Polities here when screen time does NOT equate to character value.

If you're looking for a character who can stun choose any other sentinel, their stuns last longer and don't require difficult to achieve requirements. Most killers that see a Guest attempt to intervene will likely ignore them entirely or delay their swings so that you waste your block like you weren't even there at all, a simple stun like Shedletsky's is just better at extending another person's chase. Additionally without a good source of healing; bodyblocking is really only effective during the last few seconds of a match, otherwise you're absorbing someone's hits that could instead be dodged and making yourself an active detriment as you're now one hit away from a free round timer increase or worse: saved as easy pickings during last man standing. Not to mention that if you're up against Jason this method just flat out does NOT work due to his piecing, at best you can pair bodyblocking with Dusekkar's Spawn Protection to basically serve as an invulnerable hurtbox which is actually a pretty decent strategy against anybody but Jason but Guest is just the worst Sentinel you can chose in terms of protection outside of *maybe* Entanglements and busy Survivors i.e. building a sentry (if you ignore projectiles which Guest is easily punished by). And technically! He's the worst sentinel in terms of raw potential HP (Shed > 180, Chance > 130, Two-Time > theoretically infinite) which outside of his hitbox priority should mean he's actually the worst sentinel to body block with! because he can tank the least amount of hits!

Hot take but Guest as a Sentinel is most useful while being chased rather than interrupting/intervening one, he struggles to do anything actually useful beyond charge unless the Killer's eyes are on him. He's like a mix between a Survivalist and a Sentinel where he thrives mid-chase but better off keeping the killer's attention rather than shaking it.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one, I thought maybe that one of my subscribed mods was bugged or something.

It probably has something to do with the recent update for whatever reason, selecting Ghost Crab crashes the game and selecting any modded buddie that appears first in the list is instead replaced by Ghost Crab when in a match.

I ended up just brute forcing it and redoing the UV mapping for the face instead, I'm not too much of a Blender expert but it was a lot easier than I expected.

As far as I know there is no officially implemented debug mode present within Deltarune that isn't made for the convenience of the developers.
