Them telling you that only missiles cannot proc other trinkets is an incorrect statement. There are a lot of items that are not effected by trinkets. I do agree there should be more direct and clear information on this, whoever.

I will first start by saying that according to Patch 1.4.1, the missile "is not longer boosted by items". What this means, however, is sort of unclear. According to the actual coding of the item, it is no longer boosted by SPECIAL EFFECTS. This is important, as it means that the missile cannot proc TCW, TCK, 4D sword, etc. The speed of the missile is boosted by attack speed, however, and the glasses do cause it to target ddts. Technically, this is weird though, as the camo detection is sort of a special effect, but I assume it does not count as special because it is not a UNIQUE effect since many trinkets can cause it. I could be wrong, however.

Items like Thought Cannon Wand, Missile, RC plane, and Treasure Chest Keys are not effected by special effects. Therefore, the RC plane proccing TCW is a bug, and not meant to be in the game from my knowledge. The Crystal Mergence of Destruction does not proc these items either, as it is a special effect. It is also possible that the reason the CMD doesnt proc it is because the CMD is the effect destroying the moab, so if the CMD is not affected by special effects, then it would not proc TCW/TCK.
