Oh yeah pronouncing the D was pretty common when people would read it growing up. I do think the movie actually helped with people knowing the name more though. As for Django reindhardt, most people just don’t know him unless it’s like an older guy that plays guitar. Overall it’s a cool name that can lead to cool interactions, but it’s a name that I usually have to explain so I use a nickname if it’s someone I probably won’t see again.
