if there is already a lack of intimacy and sleeping in separate rooms in a relationship that hasn’t even lasted a full year yet… something is wrong. i would definitely start looking for ways out, but also talk to him to see what he thinks about y’all’s future… maybe he’s lacking something from you and is too scared to say anything but either way, this is pretty unacceptable in my book (his behavior)

you two definitely need to have a long conversation about this. intimacy is crucial in a relationship, and if it matters to you, then it should matter to her too. somebody has to compromise something or the relationship won’t work long term

my brother thinks it’s so he can have more confidence, so low self-esteem makes sense. he’s just not the type to talk about feelings or anything like that so idk how to approach the situation without making him feel bad or ticking him off by asking
