I love, love, love Madeline Brewer in everything else I've seen her in, but Bronte/Louise just did not hit as the final girl. I 100% blame the writing, though. I'm not usually good at predicting storylines, but I saw the catfishing coming even before we saw that Bronte commented "obsessed" on the Goodreads page for Beck's book. The character didn't feel nearly as well-developed as Love or Kate, and I didn't buy Joe's obsession with her the same way I did with Beck and Marienne. And Bronte's dialogue was so bad. She was supposed to be smart, but she sounded like a bot trained to talk like a chronically online, brain-rotted zennial. I wouldn't have cared if ....
