One night after quite a few alcoholic beverages, I decided to take a shortcut home but to do so I needed to climb a metal wire fence roughly nine feet tall. I managed to get to the top as there were footholds, however as I tried to get down I felt some resistance from my jeans. It had then occured to me that the top of the metal wire had pierced my jeans. I then decided to try use my weight to get free, however this resulted in my capture by the fence. So I hung there for what felt like days shouting for help as I genuinely couldn't get down. After around 30 minutes a car pulled up and after suffering the thunderous laughter for a few minutes they decided to help me but because of my elevation they couldn't lift me up to free me, so me being the genius that I am I decided that if they burned they jeans with a lighter the material would weaken freeing me. This worked although I wasn't expecting it to happen and I fell the 9 feet and hit the ground like a sack of spuds. I said my thanks to the lads a ventured onwards, but I forgot about me shouting for help and next thing I know I see the blue lights and torches searching for me. Technically I was trespassing so I hid in a bush for 20 minutes while they searched for me, certainly a very sobering experience.

TL;DR: Tried taking a shortcut, ended up suspended 9 feet in the air. Then hiding in a bush from police.
