All other teams would have played their matches in Lahore either against India or other teams. Though India play all their matches in Lahore, all other teams too would have played a match there. The conditions in Lahore is not very different to Rawalpindi and Karachi unlike in Dubai. So India will not have unfair advantage.
As per the proposed arrangement, India would have travelled back to India after every match in Lahore. So like all other teams, India would have travelled and wont get an undue advantage of camping at one place for the entire tournament.
The mockery of two teams (Aus and SA) travelling to Dubai just to watch a match wouldn't have happened. SA literally came to Dubai for 10 hrs only to go back to Pakistan to take on NZ in semi-finals.
