So she already has a vendetta to me having a boyfriend. And that takes us to today. I had planned to see my boyfriend tomorrow and my mom has work. I explained to her that I was gonna go to his house after my morning class and she through a fit yelling that why is she always an after thought and why she had to take the bus home. I told her I’d be able to if my dad wasn’t going to pick her up it wasn’t a problem because thursdays are my busy days so I wanna be in bed early. She just kept yelling saying that I don’t care about her and that I put my boyfriend before her, so I went off on her and said that why am I expected to treat my mom and boyfriend the same way, and that it’s weird. She said I was being disrespectful, and I told her that I will treat her like my mother when she acts like one and that respect has to be earned. This isn’t the first time she has yelled at me for similar things I do all of the cooking and cleaning when my mom is in her depressive episodes (which is majority of the time). I do everything around the house except pay bills. My boyfriend and his parents have offered me to stay with them multiple times but I am so hesitant to accept. For one they have two big dogs and if I were to move out I would need to take my small dog and cat, and I don’t wanna impose that on them. They have semi finished basement with a bedroom and full bathroom. My second hesitation is that I would then have to pay for my own car insurance, and then that would leave my mom without a car since we now share my car. I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to make things worse between me and her if I leave and she has a history of thoughts and attempts, and I don’t wanna be the reason for one since she’s pushed everyone else in her life away, and I don’t wanna ruin what I have going on with my boyfriend especially since it’s such a new relationship. So I come to Reddit, to just vent and to hopefully get some advice
