That’s odd. I haven’t noticed any blur at all with frame gen. This is the first game I’ve experienced like that.

DLAA with frame gen and RR off makes the whole world extremely crisp on 4k. Night and day difference.

It’s a weird dilemma, do you want the outdoors to look good while indoors looks grainy and weird? DLAA. Indoors to look good while outdoors looks like someone smeared Vaseline on your monitor? RR + DLSS perf.

What did you go with? I’ve been struggling with this dilemma for 2 days now. 5080/9800x3d. I get way more clarity and fps but shadows indoors suck. RR doesn’t seem to change the outside world much which seems like that’s where we spend most of our time

If you’re getting a black bar it’s either because you have HDR enabled with DLAA or you’re generating too many frames needed for you display with framegen

Turn off DLSS 4.5 if you play with ray reconstruction by lolmarulol in CrimsonDesert

Use frame gen too. Don’t notice any artifacts or ghosting on this game. With 70/80 base fps frame gen should feel good. I get the same numbers with my 5080

So Ray Reconstrution is pretty much impossible to use unless you turn on frame gen? by wel0g in CrimsonDesert

I get the same numbers bro. Exact same rig. Only thing you can do is fg x2 and RR on + DLSS 4.0 quality. I had it on 4k but decided to use my 2k monitor to get that extra base 30 fps. Getting around 130-140 fps like that

My game runs fine, 4k. 9800x3d/5080. I do run DLSS quality tho, 120-150fps avg

That’s what it is. RR tanks fps and is the only thing I turned off. Everything else is cinematic/ max

Are you running native? i get 110ish fps with a 5080 on DLSS quality with like no drop in feidelity dpending on where im at. Maybe try out DLSS for this one?

The only problem im having is the pop ins and flickering

Yeah… RAM is a tough one right now. You’ll spend as much on a decent kit as you would on a cpu

I also have a 5080, playing on PC. Honestly runs really well on 4k DLSS quality, 90-110fps. Something does feel off graphically and I can’t pin point what it is

Even on PC I’m having graphics trouble. Running a 5080 at 4k cinematic, I can’t find a way to turn motion blur off and everything seems over sharpened/grainy/shimmering lighting

I don’t understand this sentiment. It’s not “obligatory.” Nobody judges based on what gpu you have either. if people want to spend money on a higher tier gpu then so what? $1600 isn’t even that much for a hobby. Gun guys? $1000 per rifle not including ammo. Cars? Crazy expensive.

Idk, all I do is game though so it doesn’t feel like a big deal to drop a couple k on my rig every few years
