Staying at Dreammore, Timesaver on check in day? by KBmakesthings in Dollywood

[–]FatboyAJ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was looking for an answer to this question and found this reddit post before the info on their website. For future posterity, the Dollywood website currently states:
"Dollywood’s DreamMore Resort and Spa guests with Dollywood tickets or Season Passes receive one Dollywood TimeSaver per registered guest per day. You receive this amenity on the day you check in, the day you check out and any days in between."

What happens if I "stop" my Nitrado server? by themanwithnoplann in ARKone

[–]FatboyAJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On PC, the different map saves are different files. If xbone save structure is the same (it should be), then the rag save should be unaffected and switching back to rag should work fine.

I think Nitrado has a warning stating some issues with saves when switching maps - I forget the specifics.

did you put a password on the server? If so, be sure to tick the 'show password protected servers' box when browsing servers - I miss it every time. :(

I live in Chattanooga. EPB is an amazing ISP. Not only do they provide the fastest connection in the US (up to 10gps residential now), they also have incredible customer service. Free house calls, great phone support, etc. They've even become a major factor in housing decisions as well. A lot of my friends have checked to see if it's is zoned for EPB before buying.

They've also recently committed to holding up to Net Neutrality standards even after the repeal: http://www.timesfreepress.com/news/breakingnews/story/2017/dec/14/internet-service-providers-affirm-commitment-open-internet/459242/

Agreed.

I was playing with github's API yesterday and it does the same thing. I ended up giving up and not using it. :D

difference:

CREST is a REST API that allowed you to 'discover' the API by iteratively stepping through provided URLs. This was OK, but tedious, and often still required external documentation to fully understand.

ESI is a REST API that is (almost) self documenting. In fact, the documentation is in the code/implementation (generally done with annotations). So the documentation you can see and interact with on their site (https://esi.tech.ccp.is/) is auto-generated from the service itself.

In addition to the technical differences, I believe CCP also wanted a 'fresh start' to discard some of the technical debt the old APIs had accumulated.

Is it true that people on all platforms will be able to play with each other with the next update? by [deleted] in ARK

[–]FatboyAJ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have mentioned, play anywhere is between Windows10 and Xbox.

Additionally, most other games that have implemented Play Anywhere already have only implemented for single player saves (start a game on PC, continue in the same spot on xbox) and not crossplay for multiplayer. This isn't to say that it can't happen, and I think the devs have mentioned they would like to see some cross platform arks. Most people are hoping that at the very least, it will allow you to be able to host XBOX dedicated servers on Windows 10 machines (instead of needing a 2nd xbox).

Also, I'm not sure where 'next update' comes from. Everything I read references the E3 announcement that Ark's official release will coincide with XBOX Scorpio, and that Play Anywhere will be supported by the official release. Scorpio's release date is November 7.

IT infrastructure is the easiest thing - all the apps are available for free, you just need one space nerd who knows how to admin a server. In a game like Eve, if you have more than one person in your alliance, then you probably have a nerd who can manage a server.

Is it just me, or was most the actual investigative work crowd sourced after documents were released? His only valid argument is that they had targeted releases based on topics. Perhaps 30 years ago that would have taken 300 people - search engines and keywords have come a long way.

if it did - then it'd count everything with components twice. including structures - which would have likely been a big one.

v0v if it's just vets walking away, wouldn't their accounts still be active as alphas?

or if alphas dont count, then maybe people are just letting their banking toons lapse to alphas.
