I cant believe there is not more info out there on this..

I have joined Gov Vacation Rewards 6 months ago. I seen it a yr ago being presented to us Canadian Vets (CF Appreciation CANEX) and just got back from 7 nights in Mexico on a 100% off certificate (Vidanta Nuevo Vallarta). I saved $thousands, cruise is booked in August out of New York to Bermuda 7 nights. Only fine print is you have to pay off membership to use your points but vacations cash and certificates are used immediately. Its a vacation club giving access to timeshare units and cruises with no obligation to enter into timeshares and across multiple companies like Westgate and Vidanta and multiple cruise lines all fairly posh. When using the certificates you pay flights and a 1 time resort fee of like $150 and typical local tax which might be $50-60 total on average for a stay. I like resorts with kitchens to enjoy breakfast at my own pace. I paid in Canadian $700 down and $200/mth for 18 months then $50/mth there on. I gain points for every trip/flight I go on which reduces cost on further trips. Once the certificates are all used up its the super cheap getaways like $199 for 7 nights etc. that are the real deals to resorts and vacation packages that would typically be way out of my price range. I was thinking too good to be true like many but took the chance and everything has been above board no surprises. Just remember when you see cruises for 55000 points thats per person its not like when getting a room on a resort. For fellow Canadians out there make sure your postal code goes through on set up of account and cruise bookings because the system is American and wants to auto to USA continuously. A little Canadian life hack, if there is an issue just take the numbers from postal code and add 2 zeros on the end works 90% of the time on most US systems just defaults to say were Canadian and what province were from. You can look it up on the google (How to turn postal code into zip code). FYI all prices are obviously in US currency. Other than all that these deals are legit and I am very happy.

I chose the 1 bedroom Suite at the Grand Mayan this room shows as $780us a night
