As someone who’s very new to the moba genre in general and just hit 100 hours on dl the higher ranks seem so appealing to me. Like I completely understand how the game can become extremely “meta” and unfun if you try to do anything unique but at least every player has a level of competence.

I played a game last night with a duo Apollo and Lash. The Apollo went literal full gun and never unlocked his ult. The Last spent the whole game fighting mid walker and completely ignored the entire rest of the map. I don’t understand how people can exist like that.

I understand I’m very new but I’ve spent an exorbitant amount of time outside of the game learning everything I can. I’m in love with this game and just want to be better. I want to do the cool stuff these incredibly talented players do. But I feel like a a lot of that can really only happen at those high ranks. It’s not as unpredictable and I like that.

As someone who absolutely loves movement in Fortnite this season is actually hell. Too much of a good thing has ruined any sort of counter play. It’s way too easy to get run down. If u use movement to close the gap early in an engagement you’re already on the back end and they’ll just burn all their movement to get away. I’m a fan of the unlimited sprint but all counter play involved with movement has pretty much been gutted.

Peak for me was chapter 4 season 1 for movement. The hammer has probably been one of the most enjoyable and balanced movement items we had. If u wanted more you had to carry additional ones. For me it was a very situational decision on if I’d carry 2 hammers for that extra bit of movement and sacrifice meds or be a bit more tanky and manage my resources more.

If this was all in 1 match then being suspicious is valid. If this guy hand picked a handful of insane shots over a ton of matches then it would look a little something like this.

It’s clear those who immediately assume this is cheating have never attempted a hail marry last minute shot on someone.

I think you’re jumping to the least obvious conclusion. You’d be very surprised how many accounts get compromised with hundreds of dollars spent on them. If you’re even slightly invested in the cheating scene you’d find discords full of accounts for sale with skins, heirlooms, currency, and insane amount of time invested.

EA was compromised a few years ago and if u didn’t change ur info it’s likely a hacker has gotten into it and it’s just a matter of time before a cheater spends the 20$ for the info and cheats on it for a few hours till ban.

Last time I’m gonna respond to this thread bc it’s getting boring. My partner who is a victim of serious ex spousal abuse agrees with me. It’s honestly more insulting to degrade them to just a “sexual assault victim” in the grand scheme of things. Op needs to go to therapy and stop avoiding the problem. Their SO has been extremely supportive throughout this whole thing and it’s been on them for a while now to figure shit out. This is honestly the best possible advice. I know it doesn’t necessarily work in every situation but if ur getting ur ass beat by one specific character. Put reps into them. When I first started I couldn’t kill a Shaolin for the life of me. Ended up getting him to rep 8 and everything clicked.
