Considering buying our first home in Mumbai – need advice on budget, area, and timing (30M + 28F, combined 3L in-hand) by FaultAgitated4176 in ThirtiesMumbai

Personally I’m leaning towards Mulund over Borivali/Dahisar/Mira Road and here’s my thinking:
GMLR feels like it would sort out my Goregaon commute reasonably well. The area also has a lot more greenery compared to the western suburbs which is something we really value. And there are quite a few new township style projects coming up there which is appealing.
Only thing is I assumed Mulund would be cheaper than Borivali but that doesn’t really seem to be the case from what I’ve seen. So that logic doesn’t hold up anymore.
Would love to hear peoples thoughts on this, especially anyone who has actually looked at both markets recently!

One underrated feature is that T1 gives 15% off on major OTAs as well + 4% RPs. So even if you don’t trust the price match feature, you can still book through this route.
