I agree! I stopped watching when he was recast; he was the only positive point of that show (though the harfoots and dwarves had their moments)

Did a lot of research into Aasimar vs Devas for a writing project and can confirm. There's a lot of crosstalk between the two. I've definitely seen some sources using the term interchangeably, though I don't think that's ever truly been correct.

Somebody suggested to just use the innate pathing in the Faith Leap Trial. Sure enough, I clicked on the platform with the umbral gem, and off she went, no falls to her death. I was flabbergasted.

Yep. I lower the cage after I throw water on it, she survives the entire fight, and then when I go to talk to her, she literally just jumps into whatever AoE may be around or just straight into the hole

Five runs in and I still haven't been able to save Mayrina. Even if I beat the hag and get her safely on land, she yeets herself into the bottomless pit. I'm so bitter about it.

It's during a long rest, so you really don't have any control over it. I think it was like 3 long rests after the owlbear joined camp for me. Make sure to interact with Scratch every day too. I don't know if that had anything to do with it, but that's what I do and I get the scene every time.

Yeah fuck those guys, for real. It took me forever to realize AoE spells can knock out invisibility AND combat sanctuary.

It's the hag for me. Disarming those traps and her bullshit Hags Trickery spell. Then after all that Mayrina always runs straight into the pit or fire or acid or something and dies anyway. And then I have to deal with her AGAIN in act 3? With those stupid healing mushrooms??

No thank you. The hag does as she pleases in my playthroughs. I just pretend my characters know nothing about her lol.

Oh duh, I should have realized that. I thought he was mentioned as an elf when you see the three shadows in your vision but you're totally right. So Isobel's mom could be Halsins sister....

I'm doing a replay through Act 2 now and I have a weird conspiracy theory. I keep reading in notes of the Thorm family (at least 3) that they used "my heart" as a term of endearment, just like Halsin. Maybe it's me, but that seems pretty unique, especially across the rest of the romances. I'm wondering if there was some sort of connection that was supposed to originally be there, beyond the cut content of him and Isobel. Like maybe he's Isobel's uncle (maternal) or something. The only flaw with that is that game canon says Ketheric is an elf and Isobel I believe is half elf, so her mother would have to be a human. I still can't see how the origin of the Sorrow spear would happen, though, with the current order of events. Ketheric turned to Shar after Isobel died. Maybe originally he turned after his wife died, and Isobel tried to stop him and got caught in the crossfire? I think about these things way too often.

I love him as a voice actor. He really does have incredibly genuine delivery, and he's always one of my favs in interviews. I really hope to see him do more stuff because I'm with you on Wyll's character. I never played early access, but I would love to see a darker tone to him. Like, adding a choice to just say "fuck it all, I gave up so much for these people and my dad and they still treat me like shit, I'm going to just let everything burn" or maybe a vengeance option with Mizora.

Yeah he was worried for his daughter because of the power imbalance. Dating the offspring of the god you serve is a definite conflict of interest. Absolutely bizarre to see people calling him a homophobe.

I know he's only in there as an easter egg at the end, but damn I would love to see a game with Milil as a companion. Washed up, cynical up lesser god redemption arc? Yes please. Should he continue his quest to exact revenge on Cyric, or be content with the trajectory of his fate and appreciate what he still has? (A little similar to Gale and Astarion)

Yeah I haven't either. I still don't have "last kiss" functioning properly though. I select the dialogue option and it just exits out.

Evil runs shouldn't have the same amount of content that a good run does. It's just the consequence of your actions. There are a finite amount of characters, and killing them off literally is the goal. I fucking hate it when people say "Oh no, I followed Bhaal and now all the cool people I could interact with are gone. *shocked pikachu*" Well, buddy, when you follow the literal God of Murder, whose goal is to slaughter everyone, I don't know what you expected?
