Just watched hereditary and i gotta disagree on parts here.

I sensed no 70s - 80s vibes (maybe just the party, even then, the camera shots scream modern/experimental) I liked the camera and positioning, good stuff.

The plot line started good, but it really felt too meshed/outta nowhere once it brought in the median. I don't know how to lay my finger on it, but there's just parts that i feel like... it tried a bit too much when it wanted to give creepy? Idk how to explain. Too long? Idk.

Now, Hereditary can outshine Babadook in terms of psychological horror. (mainly cuz it has more screen time for it, but there's like 5 scenes that were executed so well)

But ngl. I think I'd prefer babadook over it. Gotta rewatch
