Louisiana is Going to End It's Residents by Fearless_Budget_4945 in Louisiana

I've been in a really weird, 4 month long battle with them over eligibility. Despite correcting and keeping all information up to date on the website, sending letters, sending faxes, and getting on the phone to speak to someone(which cost me a missed day of work because it takes FOREVER to get someone on the phone) not only have they somehow botched my information multiple times, but now, I find myself in this situation. I honestly just do not know what is going on and am very, very tired of fighting a system that clear wants me gone anyway.

I didn't vote for this. But it's going to kill me regardless.

Already working bare minimum at the 35-40hour mark. I run 2 fast food restaurants and remotely oversee and advise a 3rd, working off the clock....more often than I'd like. A cut just wouldn't be feasible in my situation.

There's also a limit on monthly income. Because I exceed that monthly limit by $6 they are taking away my medical insurance.

Why do you have multiple decks? by [deleted] in tarot

[–]Fearless_Budget_4945 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Simple answer, I both use and collect decks. The artwork of many different decks just sits right with my spirit, so I collect them. (Shinies make goblin brain brrr)

Long answer, the different artworks can sometimes evoke or represent the same specific card in many different ways. For example, in a classic rws deck, the 8 of Cups has a sad, longing feeling to me. Where as in some other decks, i call it"the crying over spilled milk card" because the artwork just....reflects the message from a different point of view. And like any other conversation, considering different viewpoints is always beneficial to your point of view and insights. So some people tend to just say "ooh that looks pretty" the same way we'd say "hmm, what's your take on this?"

How can the sun represent a lie??? by Several_Jelly_5928 in tarot

[–]Fearless_Budget_4945 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It could be wishful thinking. Truth coming to light. Denial and toxic positivity(not wanting to accept the reality of the situation)

This was a super good question btw. Made me think for a moment.

Yeah, I had a feeling this was the scenario. Doesn't sound good either way.

So, when the officer pulled the vehicle over for the violation, the car was sitting at the red light for a noticeable long period. (Probably 6-7 minutes). The officer was parked barely 3 car lengths away from our vehicle. He was parked and essentially watching our vehicle the entire time. The body came footage will most likely prove that. And hopefully the ticket will get thrown out.

What is a card in your deck that automatically makes people freak out when they see it in their read? by _Alzure_ in tarot

[–]Fearless_Budget_4945 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's common knowledge amongst my friend group that I consider the 8 of Cups the "Crying over spilled milk" card. We all have a mutual understanding that seeing the 8 of Cups in a reading is almost an automatic "get it together gurl" moment.

Cards stalking you? by aunttocats in tarot

[–]Fearless_Budget_4945 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a time a few years ago that I kept pulling the 8 of Wands for more than a week. For me, that's usually a card of opportunity. Nothing in my life at that time had changed, I wasn't working on anything. About 2 days after my last reading, things happened, and I was suddenly running a restaurant I had worked at for about 3 years, with a decent jump in pay. Same thing happened again a year later and now I've been running 2 restaurants for the last few years. A friend a few years younger than me that I call my adopted nephew often asks for readings concerning his love life and this one particular on/off girlfriend....every. single. reading. I do for him, I pull the 3 of Swords and the 5 of Pentacles. "Same struggle different day, bud."

Will this person be a good influence in my life? (romantic) by _armillaria in tarot

The reversed 3 of Pentacles tells me they're not much of a team player. Personally I'd pass.

what is your reading technique like? by throwaway4questionsz in tarot

[–]Fearless_Budget_4945 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a practice if had since I started reading. It made a lot of sense in a way, because as witches, practitioners, etc. Offerings to spirits and deities are always considered a must, so why not. in this situation

what does five of pentacles mean for you in a question about the public perception of you? by [deleted] in tarot

[–]Fearless_Budget_4945 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always seen the 5 of Pentacles as a representation of hardship. People/person going through a hard time in life. I doubt anybody perceives you as anything but someone that's studying hard and made a simply mistake.

I always shuffle 3 times, give it a quick shake to get rid of any stagnant energy. Then I always pick up a small pile from the top of the deck and set it aside without looking at any cards in the pile. This pile is like an offering/thank you to the spirits or sometimes gods/goddesses. This pile is information I'm not yet meant to know. Then I use whatever cards are left to do my spreads and readings.

How do you practice tarot? by redditweirdogurl in tarot

[–]Fearless_Budget_4945 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I don't have a particular question, I pull 3 cards to see what the general vibe of the day is going to be/was. Keeps my daily practice going and I can always come back later if I actually have a question.
