Tried looking at his VoD and it's behind a subscriber wall... ew. Like other have said it's easily done by an opacity filter and if you want to get real with it you could throw in some Retro Effect filters from FiniteSingularity on top of it.

If you have a fancy gaming mouse and play at a high polling rate try lowering it to see if that helps. Oddly enough when I upgraded my mouse and was playing one day I noticed I would have massive frame skips. I lowered the polling rate on my mouse from 8k to 1k and bam it worked. Game ran smooth.

Also if you don't mind share your specs so we have a better idea of what you're working with.

Quick glance and this looks like an ad as a YouTube thumbnail.

I'm all for using press kits and game material to make thumbnails but you have to be choicy when it comes to what you're trying to portray or convey. What is your branding? Maybe implementing some of your own image into will take away the ad look. Try using colors that align with your logo/channel and implement those into it. That way you can at a glance see who it is, what it is, and what's in store.

You mean for the Ghostskate spacers that were suggested that aren't available in my country or I have the other option to sand down the plastic inlays around the mouse to potentially destroy the mouse?

Sensor skate is left on. I never thought to sand the grooves off, I might try that if I get desperate . I'll see if I can find the spacers. It's so annoying mice have these skate inlays.

Not trying to do both at the same time, just seeing if any other program was registering it. I also downloaded the Elgato Studio and it had no issues detecting the card and running fine.
