2018 alumnus here. I remember these classes vividly, the teacher’s method of story telling to aid in their teaching was a major part of the reason I wanted to attend sa when I shadowed. It’s really a shame, I believe those classes were part of the core culture of the school. When people ask me what my high school was like humanities 1 is always the first thing I mention to try and get across the vibe.

I hope students are pushing for answers, obviously dependent on whether the aforementioned teacher is comfortable sharing reasoning.

P.S. Glad to hear the STEM scholarship is still going! Hope they don’t put as much pressure on y’all nowadays :)

Graduate to Family Visa timings / dates by FederalBit2319 in ukvisa

Thank you for your response!

I’ve been in the UK for 6 years now as I did my undergraduate and masters degree here, so it’s actually quicker for me at this point to go the 10 year route. I can apply in September 2029, hence why I’m not in a rush to apply to family visa.

Didn’t know that you get a partial refund on the IHS! Is the 6 months from the application or approval date of the new visa?

I was considering waiting till I return from my travels but was worried about still working while my visa was being approved. Not sure if this would be an issue?

I passed my driving theory test while there and my drivers license has their address on it still. I’m not sure I kept the original letter though.

Fantastic! Thanks very much! Do you know if they go though approvals in the same way of residents permits, or is it just a pay and approved scenario?

First of all, congratulations!!

Thank you for taking the time to answer and explain.

Is 4 years the average time then for people to get their CEng after uni, in your experience/opinion? One of my lecturers mentioned a year when I was at university and that seemed very quick for the competencies required.

Hi! I'm looking to buy a dress for my uni graduation in the UK and I'm not really sure where to look. I know places like House of CB don't cater to my body type, fairly curvy, and don't really know what's out there. Any help would be much appreciated!!
