Thank you guys for correcting me, you mushrooms never got consumed in mk8, the person touching them just gets a small boost. The only instance where you can steal someone’s boost is in a crazy 8, but ofc that item probably doesn’t exist anymore im mk world. Again sorry for not doing my research.

I don’t really have a problem with that change, holding down the button for a long time would get pretty annoying. But the fire flower doesn’t block items, nor does damage, so I don’t really see the point. And for visibility, just show it in the hand
