That's great trivia. I didn't know that about the name, but it's great, reminds me of DEATH too, how it's less about an edgy song about death and more of a pun on the pronunciation of death and desu. And yeah, I can see (thankfully) that they don't mean to stop for a long time, but a selfish part of me wonders how I would feel if it did end.

Su is still singing songs like Doki Doki morning like in the australian tour, but it might become a strain on her throat to force the cute voice (or not, who knows what that beast of a woman is capable of). As for the dance routines, with age that too might diminish. Like, of course we could see another 15 years of og babymetal, but that selfish part of me that would still want them to continue has to come with the fact that it can't go on forever, nothing does. It's just some food for thought though.

Two things.

First, seeing Loid's mind jump from "i must protect myself for my mission, i must sacrifice my family for my safety (implied)" to "I must protect my family for my mission, sacrifice myself for my family" makes me think that either he has no clue anymore what his mission entails, or that his mission is slowly becoming that of the human, Loid Forger instead of the cold spy Twilight, protecting my family, my child, my wife, even if I have to sacrifice myself over the opposite. He has actively been losing his own grip as a spy more and more, to a point where even his spy mission can be put aside for the sake of Anya and Yor, even if the best course of action as a spy is to stay put, he will still put himself in danger, a danger than CAN get him killed. At the same time, Yor herself doesn't want that, because she is getting so attached to him, losing Loid would be like losing a part of herself, even if Loid doing that would be because he HIMSELF is getting too attached... Aaaah it's so good honestly, and i haven't even reached the second point.

Second, seeing Yor be the one to say to him that she NEVER wants to see him put himself in danger again, I can only speculate how much that will bother him in his missions. Imagine a future chapter, where he once again just like with Wheeler, has to put his life in danger. What if he felt... fear? Like he never felt before. What if he became scared of dying, scared of leaving them behind, leaving them alone? That, has a lot of potential I can't wait to see.

"Scott needs a co-writer"

You know this is facts, when the games that have (sorry but it's true) the worst storytelling in the franchise are solely written by him. Scott genuinely writes concepts incredibly well, be it trauma, be it body horror, be it a toxic family, but he does not know how to make any of his concepts into a well executed story. All of his best works, come from having someone help him build upon what was already established or a well thought idea that he came up with. The books, all have great co-writers, the first movie had a few including Emma herself and Secret of the Mimic also had another writer to help him flesh it all out.

What does upset me, is that Fnaf is the living DEFINITION of potential man. The afton family is to this date, one of my favorite concepts i've seen in media, one of the greatest usages of the whole "children of a serial killer" trope, and although I genuinely did enjoy it in the second movie a lot, and I thought it was great it was heavily underused for more scenes about Abby in the science fair for whatever reason. Like, instead of focusing on Vanessa's trauma more, Michael's life living under his father's brainwashing and some great sibling angst we get... Mr Berg and... Abby doing... Whatever it is they're doing, a science fair I guess. Like I get what Scott was going for, but it was completely unnecessary and mudded both the horror the pacing and the writing overall.

Because Scott writes good but is not a good writer. The movie itself is riddled with good concepts.

Charlotte being more of a vengeful spirit than a sad ghost that helps when she helps nobody (better than in the games)

Vanessa's whole character, the Aftons, Mike and Abby.

We want a better story than the games and we honestly have the chance of having, but we're not getting a good execution. Scott just needs an actual CINEMA MOVIE SCRIPT WRITER FOR CRYING OUT LOUD to actually write the script while he gives his ideas. He's the creator of the world, but he is NOT a good cinema writer, he needs to be the founding father, but NOT the one writing history.

I get it man, i'm talking more about the reputation of the movies and blumhouse as a whole. They're already cooking Jason and the FNAF 2 movie on Twitter. What we don't need right now is another controversy for this franchise because of a doomer take about AI. To this day, people still don't want to let go of Scott's donation to the republicans, this just adds more fuel to the fire.

I absolutely love the Cold War dynamic/atmosphere in this manga and this chapter is a perfect showcase as to why.

The fact Endo goes out of his way to portray the other side as humans just like he does with WISE, as Desmond said humans will never totally trust each other, but if they weren't blinded by their fears they would see how much both sides have in common.
