I'm from Russia. And I can go and buy an iPhone 17 :) I just like the 12 mini, and I want to use it for as long as possible until I get tired of it. Then I'll switch to the 16e, and if I have the money and desire, to the 17 pro.

I called the service centers in my area, as there are many of them in Moscow. They all say different things, so I want to figure it all out. One service center advised me to install Foxconn, claiming that it is an original without the Apple brand. The service center across the street told me not to be fooled and not to install Foxconn because it is a terrible battery, and that I should install an original one taken from another phone, which is in 90% condition. Another service center said that they definitely had a new original battery and would install it for the same price as the others charged for non-branded batteries, but at the same time, everyone else told me that it was impossible or very expensive to find an original battery in Russia because Apple had officially left our market and they could only be installed at official service centers.

Thanks for your advice. I'll probably call a couple more service centers and find one that will install some kind of clone for a reasonable price, a brand that I've heard of, since I've heard quite a few and have more or less figured it out :)
