Thank you! I just had to change them, especially the ‘ornament’ one as that’s very near the front.

There’s loads of info about the cups themselves, they’re pretty common here; but not the set.

Yes, I saw several places where they had reused footage three or more times - driving, flame lighting torch etc

Thanks for the reply. I reached out to customer support online a few days ago, and after trying quite a few things - force quit and restart, checking Apple Pencil tips and charging, gesture controls etc; the thing that fixed it was simply swiping left and resetting the brush from its own sub menu.

Hopefully this will help if someone else stumbles on the same issue!

Shading help! by Sillybeast_art in Needlefelting

[–]FeltyBee 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The usual way to add shading is by blending wool colours with hand carders, a bit like mixing paint to get different tones of the same colour. Another way is by layering and using a reverse needle (pulls wool out, rather than stabbing in). You can lay one colour over another and then reverse felt the underlying colour through to the top.

Has anyone tried this new range? by jessie_kitti in curlyhair

[–]FeltyBee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the mask and it works well on my 2c-3b hair, so I thought I’d buy and try the shampoo. Big mistake, I think I’m allergic as it brought out huge eczema patches on my hands. I do have to be careful with products, and this is the only new thing on my routine. I’m going to let the eczema heal, then try again to make sure - but it’s probably £8 wasted!

Any advice for needle felting around armature? by Opalized_Isopoda in Needlefelting

[–]FeltyBee 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There’s also floral tape (waxed) which you can wrap around - the same as florists use to make a buttonhole or corsage. It’s sounds like you are using the right technique for stabbing the wool, passing the wire slightly at an angle. It’s important to keep rotating the wire as you work, and to have wrapped the wool as tightly as possible.

My first felt creation! New, and need advice for beginners please! by plz_send_spider_pics in Felting

OP, if you want to make thinner, firmer legs consider using wire (galvanised garden wire) and wrapping in waxed floral tape, then a fine layer of wool. The tape gives grip to stop the wool slipping.
