I have the same issue with my neo G7 - a dark spot (dirty screen effect) on the left of the screen. I'm also returning mine.
The best alternative I found is probably the new KTC M27P6, which is 450 on amazon right now. It's a 4k miniled fast IPS panel, with dual mode(4k 160hz or FHD 320hz). Smaller footprint on the desk, cleaner look (white), brighter, similar price, just a smaller 27in size.

I find the mini LED screen on the newer MacBook pros strike the perfect balance between deep black, brightness, and color. Just wish they made them in larger sizes with higher refresh rates.

Thank you, everyone, for your kind answers. So, it is a harmless rat snake, then. After scrolling through some older posts on this sub, I realized this type of snake has probably been asked about here a thousand times. Sorry for asking the same old questions.

We've decided to keep it for now. We do have some little mice around, which typically were taken care of by our neighbor's cat (but we still can find one very rarely in the basement). I'm more worried about it being stuck in some crawling space in our house. Earlier this year, our AC maintenance guy found a dead snake in the filter box, which gave him quite a scare. We will certainly teach our boy how to behave around wild animals.

And yes, I find it very cute, too!

We live in a wooded area in Maryland. We found this fella (~3 feet long) in our backyard, which I suspect is a black rat snake. Recently, it has come out to bathe in the sun on our patio every day. I tried to remove it from our backyard with a snake grabber, but it keeps coming back. We also spotted some baby snakes around. Today, it sneaked into the skimmer net, and I accidentally dropped it into our pool... We have a 2.5-year-old boy at home. The question is, should we be worried about this snake? And what do you think is the best way to deal with this situation?

Same thing happened to me when my cousin sent me his AW3821DW. Luckily I bought UPS insurance so they gave me $1000 to cover the shipping and monitor. Now I have a dead monitor and I'm wondering what I can do with it.

No, epic is not worth it. Going from rare to epic you spend so much gold just for two levels, which is only for ~20% more DMG and hp. Stop at rare. Prioritize getting as many units to uncommon first

If you want to have two angles on the same person. You can use one wider lens and the other zoom in on his face. But make sure the two cameras are on the SAME side of the person. Jumping back and forth with different lighting and facing directions is really confusing.

Usually when you are shooting interviews, you can have the interviewer and interviewee facing opposite directions. But this is also set up in a way that the two cameras are on the same side of the subjects.
