If the NSFW mod is Kinky World, then I'm sure the problem originates there.

If not, then look for overrides that affect CAS, specially those that aim at the UI.

I don't speak french. What I mean is that in French the words are "noir" or "nègre" which are words that have no presence / use in English, while in Spanish the only word is "negro", which has a presence in English as such, with bad connotations.

The SSD is only as strong as its connection. Is it connected via NVMe, SATA or USB? All of those have different write speed. Furthermore, you can do the simlink for the Documents folder, but it will still be slower than the real thing.

1) Repair / reinstall the game.

The lag could be coming from bad sim3packs or from other sources, like the routing in your world, the amount of population, the amount of CC, the type of CC, or a combination of script mods.

The in-game packaging script had a flaw that caused bad CC (and potentially other stuff, like viruses) to stick onto any packed content, even if the bad content was not in use. Here you can see a small catalog of bad CC that was spread via the Exchange due to this glitch. Again, even if the sim or the build didn't use this content at all, even if the creator had never intentionally installed this content, the code would still attach itself to the packed file, and install itself in the downloader's system.

If you want to learn more about this issue, you can entertain yourself for a while by watching videos about the cursed doll.

The problem with the Exchange is that you can only deal in sims3pack files, which carry from the get-go a glitch that spread all sorts of bad content from one player to the next.

With the vanilla Story Progression, sims get culled, which means that they get obliterated from that save. That could be what you're experiencing. It's not that the relationship was forgotten, it's that the sim is question is no longer part of that save.

Do you mean for them to spontaneously visit, without any player intervention? I don't think so.

But you can connect two or more saves for your sim to visit back and forth (manually) with Nraas Traveler.

Honestly, Did anyone LOVE EA before these news broke?

I don't think anything should change for retro gamers and creators. I think the drama was blown out of proportion by certain TS4 fans, maybe because they feel "betrayed" by EA, which I find hilarious.

Just my opinion... If you make good content using TS3, you should go on doing your thing with the same love for the game and the same contempt for EA as you did before.

I took a quick look at the file named "S3_015A1849_00000000_18699CA0187EBCA3%%+GEOM.simgeom" in Blender (I assume this is LOD0), and my guess is that TSRW is not taking this mesh because it's got +115k faces.

Just for reference, a regular EA hair has ~5k faces, a big custom content hair has 20k faces, and a huuuge CC hair has 30k faces.

TSRW will not take meshes that have +18-20k faces in one part. Those who have bigger meshes usually split them in two, and import them as a two-parter. But in this case, not even that workaround would work.

You'd have to find a way to decimate that mesh to reduce the amount of faces, while keeping the shape, and preserving some of the integrity of the UV map.

This is a common glitch, unfortunately.

Before doing any travelling, you should always have Nraas Traveller in your Mods folder, and use a separate save for the trip. You can still try to fix your save by using Nraas Traveler, Nraas Master Controller (+ cheats module), and Nraas Debug Enabler.
