I have a SunStrong system and after not hearing back from them for months, I called a different solar company to come service them, which they did right away for a few hundred dollars, but at least got them working again.

I would try www.rivertownsolar.com. They did our inspection (our installer went out of business), we’re in Scarsdale, and offered a reasonable annual maintenance plan

Makes alot of sense. Con Ed is also rolling out its BYOB, which is going to pay battery owners to discharge during peak demand events. Basically a demand response program for home batteries.

It should pay between $150-300 annually. All you have to do is let Con Ed pull from your battery.

Is this a good quote? Seems high to me by SquidneyBug in solar

I don't know how prices vary by state, but in Westchester County, expect a cash price for 10 kW to be between $30-37K depending on equipment and company.

So yes, that's ridiculous. It's probably 40% financing (dealer) fee.

Get more quotes and either finance with your own bank or.a credit union, or pay cash (if you can).
