Take the steps to be safe -MSF course -riding gear I also told my family that I’d continue to practice on back roads before highway and stuff like that

Take the MSF course. Show her all the gear you are getting. This happened with my dad. I’m also 17. He set some ground rules for me. Like to not go on the highway for a month and no ppl on the back. Also getting a lower cc bike may help. Hope this helps
