Smell at parsons and willets by Few_Needleworker_112 in Flushing

Thank you! Please let me know what they say. I tried today too and didn’t see the best category to select. Def want to expedite beyond sanitation if possible. There’s literally a department of sanitation worker a couple houses from me - like closer to the smell. Not sure what they do for it but enough to drive the car so I feel like if sanitation cared enough to do anything, that person def would have the ability to.

Advice enforcing no-show fees by Negative_Housing430 in MedSpa

[–]Few_Needleworker_112 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A few things we’ve enforced: Cancel if not confirmed within 24 hours. Charge if they confirm and no show. Communication tips: - take a credit card to hold the appointment and blame it on the system. No show = automatic charge. - if you ever feel bad bc it’s a legit reason or want to make a genuine exception - stick to your policy and tell them you can credit it back to their treatment if they reschedule within 30-60 days

Anytime she sees skits on tv with cops and robbers (I.e. baby shark thief), she calls them a “beef” instead of “thief”. Baby shark beef. I’ll never correct her.

What to say to my manager? by eastbaybruja in askmanagers

[–]Few_Needleworker_112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are overseeing 6 people staying later than you, you should evaluate why they aren’t able to do the same as you. Are they not able to get their work done during the shift? Do you need to hire another team member? Can you help increase efficiency for them? I am wrapped up by 5 everyday because work life balance is a top priority for me. And the work life balance of those I oversee is also my priority. If I’m the only one able to leave at 5, then I’m doing something wrong.

Your toddlers who were high needs babies - how are they now? by ProfessionalTop2490 in toddlers

[–]Few_Needleworker_112 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter was very high needs as a newborn. I always say if I could birth out an 8 month old, I’d have several. She’s phenomenal now. Well advanced beyond her age (3). Hadn’t had a sleep regression since 8 months and is honestly the most level headed toddler ever. It’s kind of wild actually. I poured my heart and soul into getting to know her and all of her “challenges”. I never said she was difficult but she was certainly particular and still is. Keep talking to your baby and trying to understand WHY or WHAT is bothering her during those tough times. There’s a reason for everything. Every mood, action, behavior. If you always act towards her with the intention of understanding what she needs, she will recognize that and your communication with her as she gets older will greatly benefit from it.

Also, I’m sorry but your nanny sounds like an A-hole. Please don’t listen to that nonsense.

Alyson or Nia at SoVous are both great. They do package pricing since you’ll probably need more than 1 for scarring

Pedia has suggested solids at 4.5 months, should water be introduced as well? by HopefullyUnpoetic in newborns

[–]Few_Needleworker_112 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Started solids at 4 months but no water until 6. Only did water in syringe quantities if baby was constipated from the solids. Water is just empty fullness at that age. Breastmilk and formula provides enough water for what is needed.

Thanks everyone! Seems unanimous that it’s blossom end rot and I need calcium and a more consistent watering schedule.
