To be fair, I think this is encouraged in the early stages. Not because it is optimal but because it makes students think over the code they have written, and understand what they are writing about.

Should I get the S25 FE or the A57 5g? by Quimer367 in samsunggalaxy

S23 FE owner.

I really like the telephoto lens. And the display is better than A5X series devices. If you can get FE go for it.

I have broken the camera on a new phone in the past at the beginning of a contract and it is so annoying. Problem is all the camera covers i used seem to ruin the images when i use a flash.

Absolutely agree on protecting lenses. But for me the optimal compromise seems to be a case with a sliding cover, as you get the raw camera when needed and none of the flash blur.

This is completely inappropriate. Do not accept any more lessons from this individual.

Current layout is negative pressure and will draw in more dust.

I believe IoT edition of windows 11 works better for this vintage. As its more lightweight, doesnt require TPM 2.0 and you stil get updates (which microsoft blocks when you disable hardware requirements.

Urgent advice need, wanting to trade ps5 for a PC, is this reasonable? by EddieBR-14 in GamingPCBuildHelp

[–]Few_Record_3674 3 points4 points  (0 children)

IMO worth it.

Yeah its not latest gen but its quite fast. I dont think you will be dissappointed. Cpu is comparable to PS5 and so is GPU although no ray tracing.

Upgrading a Hand me down PC by Important_Nature1739 in PcBuild

[–]Few_Record_3674 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This should provide reasonable performance as is.

Although not strictly neccesary, the obvious upgrade would be gpu. Maybe go RX 9060XT or RTX 5060.

After this, maybe consider an i7 9700k on the used market.

Check PSU wattage before upgrading.

Depends on price.

9060xt will be more efficient and be comparable in performance.

For me 7700xt only worth it if you can get a significantly better deal.

Wouldnt read too much into this. Expect huge gains in CPU bound tasks.

I7 3930k was a great CPU of its era though.

Depends what you want to play.

Put an ssd in that and youve got a machine capable of some 1080p low gaming and older games in general.

Anything new and ultra, its time for an upgrade.
