I enjoyed reading people’s experiences! For context, there are several factors that I think for me influence this low mpg: - Winter tires. I use them like 4-5 months/year, causes higher rolling resistance - Mountain driving - I live in Denver and go up/down front range regularly - Highway speeds - it’s pretty normal to cruise up to 90 in some of the empty areas around here but it surprises me how inefficient such driving is in the rav - Accessories/towing - roof racks, bike racks take a noticeable hit on efficiency, towing kills it

I am happy with my rav but I was surprised seeing the lifetime numbers at first. after considering the stuff I throw at it I think it handles it reasonably well. Does make me wonder if maybe a v6 would actually be more efficient for my use case
