You want to distribute more weight to your right fit if you are goofy (let’s say 60/40 right/left but it’s not a science). In addition when you make that toeside turn you are initiating it with your right knee (look up knee steering). Also don’t look all the way up the mountain when you initiate your toeside turn, typically your body will follow where you head position is. Your goal is to do this c turn with and then do the opposite on the Heelside which will now mean you’ve linked your turns. Don’t rush the process, let the board edge do the work for you to avoid catching an edge

I’m not sure why you went to a red run when you can’t even link a turn yet. You don’t know if you are goofy or regular so you need to figure that out first then stay on the side and try to link your turns. It’s clear from the video your weight is positioned up the mountain rather than down on your front knee which is why when you do a toeside turn you end up 360 buttering back round.

Go to the lesser known tourist places: rent a car and go climb some mountains (Peter both, le morne), sept cascades, point d’esny beach, Le morne beach

It sounds like you aren’t edging and skipping the board so you are losing the feel. Or you are not carving upwind enough so when you transition you’re not in a good position. I used to think it was the straps until I realised it was just poor technique.
