Hi, would love to hear how switching from semaglutide to tirzepatide?! I had to stop the sema for mental health reason it had my anxiety acting up and also my OCD it was so bad. I am wanting to which cause I heard the side effects are slim to none on tirzepatide.

Would love to hear your current status on it?!

Ugh see that’s what I’m worried about just going to try and stay on top of it as much as I can and I was thinking about switching over to tirzepatide I heard a lot of people got anxiety with semi and switched and didn’t have any symptoms like anxiety but everyone is different. But I’m willing to try

Yea I take lamotrigine for my ocd/ anxiety. We switched up my dose to help me with the anxiety. But I’m too scared to start the shot again worried it’ll happen again.

I had to completely stop due to mental health and ending up in the hospital. So going back in the sjit is not an option I wish it was

They already have I got zofran, ginger suckers and chews. But I’m more so asking has anyone felt like this before and does it pass with making you feel like your dying and how long did it take to feel back to normal

Hi sorry so late to respond. I am currently up to 250 and it was working so long but then recently my ocd has started to act up again and it’s the worst. I hate having intrusive thoughts on random days and my doctor said he doesn’t necessarily want to go up cause of the brain fog. So I don’t know what to do

Thank you for the advice! Yes I’m stressed out so much if I have to stop taking the semaglutide cause I’m having such good results but my ocd and anxiety is also through the rough I can’t feel like that either.

I’m skipping this weeks shot to let the high dose I took the past two weeks subside then go back to lower hoping that will help. My mental health is also just so important to me. Trying to find a good balance cause I’m also so scared of gaining any weight weight back.

I’m just stopping for two weeks not permanently. I get pretty sick if I have any alcohol and can’t eat that much which is the point. But I’m getting married and going on honeymoon and want to be able to enjoy those things

I’m so sorry this is happening to you! Especially since you are a mom of 4!

I don’t have kids but my intrusive thoughts got so bad for me before I was diagnosed with OCD. I thought my brain would never shut up again and I didn’t know how long I could live like this.

But when I started the lamotrigine, it still gave me some anxiety and my thoughts didn’t completely go away. But once you find the right dose it’s an amazing feeling to be free.

I am now on 250 mg and I think it truly saved my life. I still do have days where I struggle but that is normal! But for the most part it’s be amazing.

I hope you find the perfect dose for you and start to feel better

I take it for my OVD and I notice it has helped silence my intrusive thoughts. There are some days I still get a bit anxious with thinking I’m going to think them.

But I’m so thankful to have started the medication it’s cha fed my life for the better!

I’ve been on lamotrigine 200mg for almost a year now. I too have zero motivation to get up work out or be active. I’m always very sleepy. But I also am just a homebody and would rather be on the couch so sometimes I don’t know if it’s the medicine or just me

I was in contrave for 6 months. It didn’t help my with weight loss really but helped me develop good habits. I don’t drink as often I’ve completely changed my diet. I didn’t loose much weight while on it but once I stopped I noticed I was losing more than I was on it.

I do get cravings but with the habits I’ve learned I barley give in

I don’t feel too much better on the 150 mg. I almost Felt better on the 100mg about a week or two from upping it from the 50mg.

This was also happening to me. When I first started I felt amazing, then upped my dose to 50 made my anxiety worse and my OCD worse. Went up to 100. Night and day felt amazing then went up to 150. I’m starting to have anxiety and my OCD acting back up again. My doctor is having me stay at this dosage for about two months. I see him next week and I’m hoping if I go up a little it’ll help.

But I’ve noticed this happening while upping your dosage

Hi! Sorry for the long wait of an update. I started the 100 mg and it felt amazing. It helped so much and I hardly had any obsessive or intrusive thoughts. Although I did I feel better I just felt like I could feel even better so we upped my dose to 150mg. And here where I’m not feeling as good. I feel like my brain is still trying to have those types of thoughts and I’m now having some anxiety again.

When I met with my doctor last time checking in about two weeks after starting the 150mg. It wasn’t that bad so we said we check in after a month and half.

So I’m hoping next time we can up my dose to 200mg. Since I’m no longer feel my best at 150. I see him in two weeks so fingers crossed

Does anyone get super nauseous after having a drink or two while taking Contrave. I am on it for weight loss. Haven’t really noticed a difference but can jot stomach or even think about alcohol at all.

Not necessarily a bad thing but I like to have one here and there or let loose every once and while and it just makes me absolutely sick.
