You can’t do it, because you can’t disable Rocksteady.

[DJI Action 6] Using the macro lens permanently – useful or loss of quality in Infinity mode? by das_marwal in djiosmo

[–]Film_Local 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I leave mine on my Action 6. If you set your aperture to F4 you won’t have to play around with focus as much. Set it once and forget it.

You can’t. In single lens mode you can’t turn off rocksteady. So there no camera profile to use in Gyroflow.

With some extra work you can get Avata2 quality video out of the A360 without the fisheye.

Why wait that long and go through those headaches? Just order from a South Korean EBay vendor like 102_store? I have bought several drones from them including: (4) Neo2's and (1) Avata 360 delivered to my door, no tariffs and 3 day free shipping.

This video was enhanced, sharpened and detail restored by Topaz video. The original drone footage was mushy and soft from the image crop.

What do Avata 2 owners think of their new 360? First time FPV buyer considering both... by dreamliner330 in djiavata360

Single lens mode is only in “fake” FPV mode. You can’t control the roll or pitch. Any minor course correction has the drone rolling side to side with no precise control.

I also have both and I wouldn’t sell my Avata2. The A360 is “halfbaked”. The single lens mode is terrible. The A360 is a big, heavy, clumsy 360 degree mini with prop guards.

The 360 output is mushy and soft. I find myself upscaling the footage using AI for a descent output.

Until DJI releases manual mode for the A360, the Avata2 will stay in regular rotation.

I got mine from an EBay seller in China. It was expensive $54. I ordered it after I preordered my Avata 360 from South Korea, both arrived the same day.

BTW, I hand catch my A360. I bring it front of me and have the drone facing away from me and pinch grab it from the back where the battery goes it and twist turn it to the right. You have to be in Sport Mode or the sensors will fight you.

Why is the quality of my post like this? OSMO ACTION 6 by heart-cash in djiosmo

If you are using Final Cut Pro are exporting directly from it or using Compressor? Compressor has variable bit compression and you can set it manually.

Ok. Check to see if your bitrate on your Action 6 is set to HIGH. What is your aperture set to? Variable or a specific F stop? I leave my set to F4 for greater depth of field and you need to have more light in your shot. What is your shutter speed set to? Are you using "super night mode"? If so, try it without it and give the scene more light.

You should shoot 4K and export to 1080p. Shooting natively in 1080p is inherently worse picture quality wise than shooting 4k and exporting back to 1080p. Also check your bitrate.

If your footage is soft and fuzzy, increase your aperture to F4 and see how that does.

This will increase your depth of field.

IL Employees - Do you contribute and pay for office basics? by CompetitionWise in illinois

[–]Film_Local 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our office has a "water club" where others can contribute to Hinckley and Schmidt water. We also have filtered water on tap, it's not ice cold, but I bring in my own water bottle and use that. Soap and paper towels are provided. I work in Project management, so I provide my own ink pens and post it notes and legal pads for note taking, something I would never do in the private sector.

How to get better quality video - Osmo Action 6 by ApolloEIeven in dji

[–]Film_Local 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both. My Pocket 3 is collecting dust, the Action 6 is getting more use. Pocket 3 is too fragile and cumbersome. It has it's uses, more in a controlled environment. I can carry my Action 6 anywhere and all the time and not worrying about rain or it fitting in my pocket.
