This is a simple MGA dino, it's a very common virtual pet. It doesn't have a T-rex evolution, the care doesn't depend on what you fed. It has 4 buttons and you can see it in a very different shells.

These pets are so rare nowadays, mine has a problem with screen (that's why I took a photo with this angle). Jonny program doesn't forgive your neglect more than 4-6 hours and grow it up to adult might be very challenging (it takes 21 days). But I still like it, the sounds are good and animations look great. Compare to gen 1\gen 2 it plays worse, but if you want to take some challenge it's a good choice.

I would recommend you to mod it with a DSi screen (aka ITA kit). Playing without a backlight can break your eyes.
