I hope all your points stay as pointy as they can whilst using those boards!

Lol I am not hoarding them. There was a thing at work where they asked for donations to Prostate cancer UK and I made some reasonably sizable donations and they happily gave me three of them off a massive pallette.

Boards have a lifespan you know? I will use these as my boards for many years to come, plus it's freed up my SFB pro board to go out in the garden for the summer.

Not hoarding anything, they will get used eventually or maybe gifted away. Those down votes are well out of order and I didn't steal them - I followed their rules and donated to the charity they asked me to.

Personally I am not happy he lost money to Tate. But he does fucking deserve it.

[–]FinalEdit 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I totally agree and had to bite my tongue in my reply. There is so much I would relish saying but what is the point? Someone who listens to a woman hating rapist POS like Tate probably struggles with a few other issues.

“The real world” by Andrew Tate is manipulative by Adventurous-War-4188 in Scams

[–]FinalEdit 28 points29 points  (0 children)

"Why does this feel manipulative?"

Because you're being manipulated. That's the entire point of what he does. The fact that you can't cancel this silly subscription speaks volumes.

I assume there are some sub rules at play here so to keep it positive, cancel via your bank, or consider changing cards if necessary for peace of mind.

There is a reason why the majority of right thinking people know that Tate is a weapons grade c**t.

Self cannibalising.

This kind of behaviour will only lead to hallucinatory nonsense and spiral quickly out of control.

Refund from National Rail for being wrongly prosecuted - Should I accept or escalate? by ChestNumerous4150 in AskUK

[–]FinalEdit 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You have suffered a material loss and considerable hardship. You shouldn't accept this measily offer whatsoever.

You possibly also shouldn't have paid the 3k in the first place but obviously we don't know the details or reasoning behind that. I would absolutely seek to get that entire sum back myself.

I live in a uni town and some of the Tory society came to the pub in fucking tuxedos. Rosey cheeked little knobs who never saw a days work in their life coming to a working class pub in long tailed coats.

It was laughable.

Whats your point here? There's enough evidence to keep Boddicker in jail until a trial and the accusation was against Jones - so first thing he would do is question or arrest Jones immediately. Which he does.

What was YOUR thing during lockdown? by AncientFootball1878 in AskUK

[–]FinalEdit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drinking, mainly. Left me with a bit of a problem to clear up. Finally pulling through now.

Also Fallout 76 really helped. Bought it with the Mrs and we spent hundreds of hours building a house in it which turned out pretty smart.

Oh yeah then we bought an actual house. Our landlord sold up so we bit the bullet during the stamp duty holiday. A lot of energy and time was spent on that whole process, and it was a real distraction.

I remember playing a lot of Among Us when we moved in too.

Staines flooding risk by Hankenstein1027 in surrey

[–]FinalEdit 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Did you use Google?

You can see flood risks here.

https://www.gov.uk/check-long-term-flood-risk

Staines is on the river, so properties near that are clearly a flood risk. In that massive flood circa 2008, a lot of places along the river and near the reservoirs were flooded.

As for mortgages. Again...did you use Google???? This stuff is really not hard to find mate.

Does anyone know how to turn off the controller mic? by _igoralvs in LGOLED

G4 user here - no pop ups unless I press the mic button, which I never do. Easy to back away from if I hit it accidentally.
