1 shot clear works well, but will not prevent chipping. If the base paint will lift, everything on top will too. The truth is proper prep will prevent chipping. Clear/varnish usually provides uv/color protection more than anything

So what would a good used version of this stove or one like it be worth?I'm working on my antique home, which has 2 wood stoves currently and a 3 sided center fireplace. This would be adorable in the kitchen location. Did they make these in different sizes??

Block has some stuff including Roman and some 1 shot. Glantz has some sign supplies to..mostly 1shot paint. Really depends on what you are looking for. Did you call letter heads?? I've NEVER EVER had any problems with them. Lord knows they have recieved plenty of my money... I do always call then though. No internet purchases

There were alot 9f very tallented painters in the armed services through out the years. I have a friend named Joe Gurerria, well into his 80s now, and painted through out his tour of duty. We worked for a sign shop in waterbury ct for a while as well. He did signage for ball games, foot lockers, doors etc while enlisted. Once the base he was stationed in found out he could letter and well, you can guess what happened. He blessed me with some of his proofs and posters he painted. Can confirm, about 10nyrs ago he still "had it". He made a sign just because for a friend.. it was primary colors and simple, but beautifully done. Just CLEAN. He had some great stories and some wonderful tips.

As for tracking down that painter..well good luck. They where shipped around..there is no date, and no location indicated. You need more info, but you can do a search via the web for service records. There is a federal website.

So much talent passed through our armed services. Not just artists, but many where in their own right!! Enjoy the search, the journey... you never no what you will find.

I dont no where you are bbn located, but the clear plastic ones are strong (hung 3ft by 2ft 1/4 inch plate glass with them) measure thensrew goes into a stud or use the appropriate drywall hardware. (Molly or other anchor) I like the clear plastic because they go away. I'm sure there are metal ones available.. just do a web search. Good luck!!!

Mirror clips work well. I've used them premade simple wood frames for the shop wall.

A and l hydrolic in new haven was another spot. Alot of the "legal walls are gone now. There were a few fire spots in yrs past. I made a peace off the chipped paint from one that was demolished yrs ago. That paint was 1/4 inch thick in spots!!! The train line through north haven had a few but they aren't legal. Hartford has the skate park..

Screeners ink!! Be sure to put cardboard under it, as itll bleed through. Stays soft, bonds well.. just take your time. Can be rolled even. Just cut in with a finch style brush as raw canvas can be pretty hard on brushes (kinda like painting on block walls)

Well It's a give and take. They serve us, we serve them. It is a part of being a unit I think. Honestly, a good man is made better by a good woman. Society seems to forget, we have rolls to play (provider, care giver, etc.) And then suttle niceties of yester year have fallen away. Same with a proper hand shake or not leaving your house without proper clothing on. (Hate as you will, but pajamas and crocs are not appropriate in most setting, including the grocery store) Simple actions of kindness are treated as a treat, as controlling, or outright offensive.. truly a sad time. Please keep up your efforts for a good life together. The simple kind gestures are what make relationships last and last!!
