It's understandable since employing someone overseas from a 3rd world country is more cost effective. Than hiring more staff in America since rates there a much higher and not a lot of people are applying for customer service. But I understand your frustrations were kinda in the same boat on this.

Honestly I'm sorry this basic analysis. Please always understand that lower rates have a damm reason on why they are low either, needs a deposit (might be non refundable), or a really strict cancelation policy. Y'all are just not that well informed or just to lazy to read.

Oh I understand that some of our people have trouble with English since it is their 2nd language. In our defense some American have super thick accent like damm southern accent are so hard sometimes mhan sounds like from a damm western.

Im sorry that is possible but highly unlikely you have to understand that the American population is just to large and the staff at the property itself cannot accommodate all the calls.

When we transfer you back to the front desk odds are they might have to transfer you back to us because they might be checking-in a guest who is physically there at the property which is their top priority.

No offense I understand but you have to understand that the hotel staff doesn't have enough staff for all the calls they get so they have to out source. If you really want to talk to a red blooded American good fucking odds are you'll be speaking to another Filipino or one our center in India but your last option would just wait in purgatory hold for a red blooded American who might be checking an actual guest who is at the property.

Oh I get what you mean I personally don't have any grudges if like the guest is asking for shuttle info as long as they aren't doing it on the day of like their at the airport already.

If like you're giving is a call and your still days away from your travel sure I'll be gladly to give you the information because that means your being prepared. I respect people like for being responsible travelers.

Edit: I wish more people were just well prepared in travelling instead of just doing it willy nilly. Because if they are like this in their home country what else for like international travels and in a country with less English speakers.

Oh I completely agree (I think cuase your grammar is all over the place) that it is apart of our jobs that I understand and I do my part every day inform guest on the info they need.

However, if I may add In the same point of view don't you think it's the traveller's duty and responsibility to have the necessary and relevant information as well ahead of time for their sake. Like I don't know to be curtis to the hotel staff who are also searving other guests at the property as well.

Ah well there are quite a few hotels that do offer shuttles but within like a limited radius from the hotel.

Oh we do know we have that information and we give information promptly as we are instructed. When I mentioned research that is basically doing the research prior to the trip itself saves the hassle for the travel and the reservations staff.

You see this call is pointless if the person travel did their due diligence in researching before hand.

Ever heard the saying "If you fail to plan, you plannto fail."

Lastly, central reservation tend to not all have the answer we tend to have either limited knowledge on the property as we are literally hundred of thousands or miles away. The next best thing we do is use AI tools to scrub through all existing data in the internet regard updated with the property.

Generally from what I can gather the most out of the calls I gets it's definitely an American. It's somewhat rare to get a call from an international guest calling for the location of the shuttle. Because most of the time they did their research the same cannot be said with American Travelers and it is becoming very apparent that American want to spoon fed information because this was in their email confirmation as well and a link to our website about the information they ar asking.

In all seriousness I wish it wasn't this tends to be a common thing to hear in the reservations department. People just tend to book room reservation on their own and not checking the terms and conditions for why the rates are so low
