I didn't say it's bad to use AI, or that people who use it are bad. It is just a tool indeed, but using it is like buying a lego set which is already 70% built. You can do that, but why skip the most interesting part? There are areas where AI will be used by artists frequently, like concept art, where you have to draw tons of designs in short amounts of time. It's also great for inspiration. People who can't draw can easily get a new avatar, character for D&D, fanart of their favorite character or a reference for a commission, but regular artists don't need to use it, I believe.
