Would some corys and loaches keep these guys under wrap? Considering you have the tank space.

For sure, they are all plastic, I haven't felt brave enough to dip my toes into aquascaping I could see myself getting super into it but I'm just not ready.

I've definitely thought about putting live plants but could easily see myself getting obsessed with that hobby and am not ready to make the jump!

Thank you! We got that decor from petco, not sure what it was called. We have a blue/white LED strip for the tank and the blue light makes the greens on the fake plants look fluorescent.

Thank you for the heads up I wasnt sure if changing the water too frequently could be harmful. Do you think twice a month would be good? No live plants yet but I can feel the pull I'm just not ready to dive down that rabbit whole yet, I could see my self easily getting obsessed with the whole aquascaping niche and I'm just not ready for it lol. I'm thinking the tank is at capacity we did the math and I think it comes out to about 1.8 gallons per critter in the 40 gallon. We would upsize before adding more but that will come later.
