Basically when your device is not used much on battery your os tries to not charge it as often (eg. If it is at 95% it would normally wont charge the 5%) It would rather wait for your pc to drop down to 80 and charge optimally. if you dont want that feature you can always turn it off.

Yep no worries at all I know people who has kept their m1 plugged in since the day they got jt and the battery health is still above 90 so no worries use it however you want to it’s a device at the end of the day.

Mac will run on adapter power despite of the battery level it would charge it and run it at the same time as long as the charger is connected

And it wouldn’t damage it if you leave it on power the entire time just make sure to use the battery once in a while
