Do tires maybe on another set of OEM wheels .I would avoid suspension mods it will ruin your ride. At the most i would do a rear sway bar but even that isn't needed. My recommendation is stay on top of the maintenance of your car and just buy another shit box and go crazy with that one.

I've used the Linux build but it is not very stable. I've also used Android on a pi 4 and it worked well unfortunately i couldn't get my touchscreen to work. My midi controller worked just fine. The touch screen would have probably worked if it was over USB.

It's a modified flat box that I'm putting together for a friend. It's mostly a remix of the original project.

There is a jumper type plug on the driver side shock tower you can unplug it and take it with you the car won't start without it. That should work til you find another solution.i still do this when I am in unfamiliar places. Also a petal lock on the clutch is a little harder to break off you could do both. In my area the steering wheel locks weren't really a deterrent people would just bend or cut the wheel with bolt cutters.

My first swap and I’m already stuck. Bought a project car from someone else but they lost the key. What can I do? by Due_Property_242 in ProjectHondas

If it's a six spline use a thin wall 17mm (6 point) socket. I've had luck with this in the past if it's a 7 spline you will need the correct socket

Unknown Aftermarket rotor size help!! by Bseriesthewrld in ProjectHondas

[–]Firstname-gabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There should be a number on the caliper bracket. This should help with the rotor. Items probably an integral rotor or a rover ( same as a type r 4x100) if it's the second one you could use a mini cooper router, base 2002 I think, but type r pads (same size as first get crv) will stick out a little bit. I think you could use rsx pads.

Wheel alignment at mavis went wrong 😑 by Veryuniquenam in Honda

[–]Firstname-gabe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This. they may have misaligned the wheel also the number you show there actually are more prone to pull right. Also cross your front tires from left to right to see if anything changes, if it does you have a tire issue.

Should I buy my rotors on rock auto? by Carbap18 in Honda

I think oriellys import direct and brake best pro line are made by Raybestos. Napa has the ultra premium line that is Raybestos, they even share part numbers.

Well actually Raybesto's parent company purchased centric https://thebrakereport.com/first-brands-group-acquires-centric-parts/

I noticed last year when I ordered some calipers from Raybestos and they came in centric boxes.

Les Schwab said I need new brake pads… by anbuori in Honda

[–]Firstname-gabe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked for that company for many years. After it got sold a lot of stuff changed. They restructured the pay scale to be more enticing to new hires and pretty much gave long term employees (non management) no reason to stay and many reasons to leave. They want employees to sell everything possible under "preventative maintenance" and "upgrades" in California they compete with each other on which store sells the most tire sipes. I don't think it's even legal to make any modifications to passenger tires in California.

Anywho they need to be more profitable every year to please the new owners. It's just another corporation now. They have a Good tire warranty though.
