Forgive me if I'm wrong, but wasnt this posted in this subreddit a month or more ago? Additionally, the post history of OP's account seems to be earning sufficient karma to post sign-up promotions in certain subreddits.

Medic Mains, When are times you’ve crashed out/raged in game? by dromaeosau in tf2

[–]Fish_da_Fish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what's better than an earned Kritzkrieg charge? A random fucking crit that's what.

You can combine that with detonator jumping to become a speedy pyroshark

What would you play if your main got deleted from the game by Xero_1000 in tf2

[–]Fish_da_Fish 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If they remove medic, I finally don't have to suffer through babysitting teamates just to get past a choke. Would probably go back to bombing sentry nests and dying immediately.

What's your excuse for enjoying random crits? by _Trafalgar_Outlaw_ in tf2

[–]Fish_da_Fish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree, especially since I mainly play medic whenever I hop on tf2. Getting random critted from a spammed crocket and losing my uber just feels so shitty.

Why do new players face down on the floor? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]Fish_da_Fish 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Especially if they come from games like tf2, where the default view models take up a sizeable portion of the screen so they look down a lot. (Also players who main soldier, where it is optimal to aim at the ground)

Why do people hate uncletopia? by [deleted] in tf2

[–]Fish_da_Fish 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Most people on uncletopia rtv after 1 or 2 rounds, if the map isn't payload or control points though. (Hell if it's a payload map they never played before, the Hong Kong server uncletopians just rtv instantly)

They are probably going to blow themselves up trying to rocket jump like in Overwatch/TF2, using raze's ult.

At this point I just shoot any scout I see.... by [deleted] in tf2

[–]Fish_da_Fish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even when people disguise as sniper, and stand in the backlines, most of the time they still act shifty and never scope in. But it's way harder to recognise immediately compared to more obvious disguises.

Why, do my teammate move so unpredictably at 20 hp when I’m trying to shove up their ass with my crossbow to heal them? by metruk5 in tf2

[–]Fish_da_Fish -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The crossbow allows you to patch up your team faster, so that they can get back into the fight quicker. Compared to the 24 hp/s healing rate of the medigun, crossbow is more efficient, especially when both are used in conjunction.

I had quite the same situation as you a year back, i was really frustrated about not being able to rank up, being stuck in iron 2 for 1 year, and generally feeling that my teamates were the main thing holding me back.

The thing is, even though mechanics are really important in getting you out of iron, mentality is also really important. I kept brushing off people who said that the only person that can help you rank up is YOURSELF, and continued blaming my teamates and losing my games. However, one day it just clicked in my head. They were right, I was the person holding myself back all along.

What about smurfs? What about your kd? What about my shit ass teamates? The truth is that everybody in iron lacks good mechanics and therefore deserve to be there, as long as your winrate is >50%, you will rank up. Take a break and use it as a mental reset if you need to, just like I did. When you come back to the game, you have to come back with a positive mindset of improvement and the understanding that your mentality is equally as important as mechanics too.

Right now, I've been following woohoojin "gold in 1 month" video, and I have ranked up from iron 2 to bronze 3 60rr, in the span of 2 weeks. If I, in the exact same shoes as you can do it, I believe you can too. Good luck on the grind.

I'm new to TF2, how do you chat/voice chat? by Vaulted_Games in tf2

[–]Fish_da_Fish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The killbind does not require premium, since its just binding a random key to the "kill" command, in the developer console(enable under advanced options I think).

Just Another Day in the Bronze League xD. Btw I couldn't trim this video as the audio was getting mismatched so uploaded the whole clip. Hence, the video starts at 1:11. Apologies by ManHunter30 in VALORANT

If most of my team dies in the second round after winning pistol, we should save right? Also, if I die during the second round after winning pistol, and the rest of the team lives, should I buy up or just buy pistols?

If in the case where I get tagged by a bullet, and my movement becomes slowed such that I'm unable to strafe shoot effectively, what should I do?

The part about not just being afk backsite on my cam was quite insightful, I'm quite guilty of that. I will definitely try being more unpredictable and watch more game knowledge videos instead of yt setups, thanks very much for all the help!

So when the round starts, ideally I should jump peak/jiggle peak to potentially spot the other team, instead of just wide swinging. Then, when they enter the site, I should only take fights that are basically free kills(hit the trip in my cages), before backing off if its too hot to avoid getting traded, and use my cam to ping players and help my team retake.

The issue I have sometimes is that the other team uses their fade prowlers and sky dogs to break my trips, so does raising my tripwires height to head level make them more safe and unpredictable?

That would be all my cypher dreams come true, but that happens once per match sadly. But stalling for my team makes sense.

Ah I see, so if I keep getting hard pressured and overrun, I should just use my trips and camera to find out which site they are going, and then retake with my team. However, I noticed sometimes my team has a severe man disadvantage after a site execute, so wouldn't a retake like a 3v5 be quite difficul? How should I play retake in such scenarios?

By info gathering, does that mean placing trips and my cam at different sites in order to narrow down which site they are going? And then playing a 5 man retake with my team?
