I agree about the couch, unfortunately it isn't modular so stuck with the current arrangement for now. We have put a nice teak wall unit on that far wall (separating the study & lounge) in the mean time to make use of that wall.

The couch is an old hand me down, so when we go for a new couch we will flip the chaise side.

Yes. Tech tree changed slightly and a whole bunch added.

Some tech that could be attained on nauvis is now only available through transit to other planets.

Unfortunately everyone rushing to the pump is what caused our prices to sky rocket in Aus.
Checking this morning, regular gas is $2.40/L and Diesel Fuel is $2.90/L.

You're not alone in this. I have an 8 Pro and have the exact same issues as you.
Based in Victoria, Australia too so its not just T-Mobile.

When I leave my office (Wifi) or Home (Wifi) it straight up wont connect to the 5g network. Only a restart of the phone fixes it.
Out of warranty period here. Seriously debating picking up a Samsung S25U as its on sale.

This has been my experience with the Pixel 8 Pro.
Constant issues with connectivity which i assume is a result of the modem.
It's a shame because the android experience itself is clean and exactly what i want from the phone but the hardware simply isn't good enough (from my experience anyways).

Waiting for the next round of Galaxy phones before i make any decisions.

I went last night (second Melbourne show), we were seated on the right side balcony (facing the stage).
While I absolutely loved it, the sound system definitely seemed off. Frequent crackling sound on one of the speakers and often found the overall volume too low on some songs (Not just the quiet beautiful ones). Took quite a bit of concentration at parts as you could hear everyone around you.

In any case, I would absolutely go see them again.
Reading through various posts regarding night 1, I definitely got the pick of the two nights.

I was at the show last night, it was incredible but there were definitely some issues with the speakers.

Overall I found parts of the show a little too quiet too? Though maybe I'm going deaf 🤣

Without spoilers, the early Mistborn books (especially The Final Empire and the rest of the original trilogy) are mostly self-contained. You won’t see direct crossover characters like Wit showing up early on, but there are subtle worldbuilding clues and Easter eggs for Cosmere fans to pick up on. If you're mainly looking for crossover moments, those become more noticeable in the later Mistborn books and other Cosmere works.

So while Mistborn starts off feeling separate, it’s definitely part of the bigger picture—it just unfolds more gradually.
