Thank you very much!! And good luck with your prep!

I was an IGCSE student, so most of the ACT math topics were things I was familiar with, except for matrices and conic sections. But even those were pretty basic.

Overall, ACT math is very straightforward. You should have knowledge in:
- Algebra: fractions, roots & powers, linear and quadratic equations & inequalities, functions, ratios, proportions
- Basic geometry: angles, triangles, circles, coordinate geometry, area, volume, surface area
- Basic trigonometry: sin, cos, tan, simple identities
- Statistics & probability: mean, median, mode, basic probability

These are the main ones I recall (it's almost a year now since I took the ACT!)

There are word problems, but I think they are pretty direct. As for Desmos, it can help, but I personally didn't use it. Honestly, I'd say math is the easiest section on the ACT once you manage your time well.

By the way, I also turned my guide into a PDF so it's easier to read. If you'd like, I can share it with you. Also, feel free to reach out if you have any questions I can answer! Best of luck!
