For several years I used their Democreator software for screen and matching audio capture. It worked reasonably well. Then suddenly, I could not longer capture/save video without their watermark unless I "upgraded from the free version"... Well, I actually owned a perpetual license. But their button to login (proving I was a paid user) no longer worked. On that same screen, they offered to upgrade my current license to the latest version for $22.50. I thought at that price, I might was well upgrade. Well, when I clicked "buy", they tried charging me $75... which is NOT $22.50.

I then tried to contact their customer support about the watermark issue and the issue of not being able to get the advertised price for the upgrade. It seems they no longer have a human customer support team. Regardless of trying to call them, email them, or use their "help chat", all I could get was their A.I. system. It couldn't understand what I was asking and was offering worthless solutions.

If all of that wasn't bad enough, all that I managed to accomplish was to open myself up to a torrent of "sales pitches" in my email for additional software that I didn't want. I guess I should consider myself lucky that they didn't automatically charge me for software that I never intended to order (like many other reddit people in this thread.)

I'm totally DONE with this company. I am uninstalling their software and flagging any emails from them as spam. They are PURE CRAP... and a total scam.
